You hear clattering nearby and run out to find two mites fighting at a bridge above an underground river. One has been badly wounded, but is stubbornly protecting the bridge from the other. “You’ve done little more than scratch me!” calls the wounded mite, unwilling to yield. The healthy mite sees you and turns to face you. “Will you please talk sense into him?” “Don’t listen to this knave!” calls the wounded mite. “This is a private area and he’s not allowed!” Will you try to talk sense into the wounded mite, or tell the healthy one to move along?
